Reduction is an attempt to recover photography's fundamental elements.
It is photography which in the digital age and the era of mass production and mass consumption of images on the Internet, has lost its interest in carrying on with the role of the window to the world, focusing instead on its own form and structure, and as a matter of consideration taking such notions as self-referentiality, medium and representation.

The work plays with the viewer's perception, making explicit references to the theory and the history of photography and minimal, abstract art. The images depict sheets of photographic paper, either exposed or unexposed, developed or undeveloped.
